Toby Syrett

Toby Syrett has been a teacher at Hood Canal School since 2015. He graduated from The Evergreen State College with a BS in environmental science and a Master’s in Teaching. In addition to teaching social studies, he leads an outdoor experiential learning program for middle schoolers focusing on team building and personal development through challenging outdoor activities. He is very committed to bringing Native sovereignty curriculum into the classroom, networking with tribal partners to create cultural experiences for all kids, and making sure everyone is challenged and having a good time.
