Professional Development for Districts and Educators
Cattail Rising partners with Tribes, schools, and districts to equip educators with the tools to effectively teach Tribal history lessons, incorporate land-based learning, and build meaningful relationships with Tribal communities.
We offer a variety of professional development opportunities—including workshops, summits, and hands-on training sessions—designed for educators, school staff, and district leadership. Our services are co-created and emphasize interactive, experiential learning, rooted in traditional intergenerational teaching methods.
Our mission is to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and cultural perspectives needed to engage Native and non-Native learners alike. Through our programs, educators gain the confidence to foster respectful partnerships with Tribes and create inclusive learning environments that spark deeper conversations with students and the community.
